June will be the month for World Cup Soccer, and the ICD Clubhouse will be the place to watch the competition! Italy’s “Azzurri” soccer team has a rich World Cup history, winning 4 titles, including their most recent in 2006. The World Cup is always filled with fierce competition, premiere athleticism, and high drama!
Admission will be free and with the huge projection screen in the dining area and several High Def televisions in the bar area, you can watch Italy defeat the competition in great comfort. Add to that Chef Tommaso’s specially priced World Cup menu, and you’ll have an enjoyable time spent cheering for your favorite team. The Clubhouse will be open for all of Italy’s games, regardless of time of day. The bar, serving sodas, espresso, beer, and wine, will also be open.
But what if you want to watch matches involving teams that are… dare we say it… not Italy? The Clubhouse will be open for them, too, if the games are televised in the afternoon (US time). This will be a unique opportunity to introduce the Club to friends, family, children, and associates who would like to watch the action of one of the world’s most popular global competitions.
The first game, featuring Uruguay and France, will be on June 11th, with Italy hitting the field against Paraguay on June 14th.
